Readersvoice.com aims to collect a few interesting reading tips. About 100 to 150 budding writers of all ages attended Writer’s Block, at Robina Library, Gold Coast, to hear some Brisbane authors talking about writing. Most of the principles of good fiction writing are adhered to by the majority of professional authors. So it’s worth seeing as many writers talking as possible, whether at events like this or other events like comic-cons. You can learn a lot about the business side of writing, too. READERSVOICE.Com aims to collect a few interesting reading tips. Arcadia Page creates manga-style comics like Fly, Mascara and Wings. Her stories often feature shy and awkward characters who rise above their weaknesses. For example, Wings features Michelle, a high-school girl who suffers from depression which keeps her from writing a novel called Wings. Michelle discovers she has wings of her own. Arcadia Page creates dramatic stories, with comedy and a bit of romance. There are heaps of good reading suggestions in this interview.
